About the Lido 14

The Lido 14 has been in continuous production since 1958. In that time it has been updated and modernized a number of times as technology improved. Through its life it has remained an ideal family sailor. Bench seating, simple sail plan, high reserve buoyancy and light weight all combine to make it a perfect boat for singlehanding, sailing with the family or getting the kids started in the sport of sailing. The deck layout and mast step system are simple enough that you can sail at your favorite lake or bay in the afternoon without having to plan the event days before. The Lido can be ready to sail within 15 minutes of arrival at the launch site.

With an astonishing 6,140 built hulls, the Lido-14 is a very successful design by any daysailer standard. A 1995 face lift made the Lido 14 stiffer, with more seating and bouyancy.
