The Lake Washington Sailing Club is hosting our annual Turkey Shoot Regatta on Saturday, November 5, 2022. At this event we welcome C15, El Toro, Thistle, Laser, Windsurfer, Lido, Banshee, and open fleets to battle it out for the big prize: TURKEYS!
Located at the Port of West Sacramento, LWSC’s facilities include a grass area with picnic tables, a one-ton capacity hoist, launch ramp and dinghy ramp for easy water access. The regatta is open to all centerboard sailboats and pre-approved keelboats up to 21 feet.
For 2022, Laser sailors will compete for the Steve Willett Memorial Trophy that honors the contributions of our friend and former Sailing Officer.

Turkey Shoot Chili Cookoff!!!
This year we will again have our Turkey Shoot Chili Cookoff. This competition pits our world famous chili chefs against each other and the winner is you! We ask that each competitor provides enough chili for ten people. The club will provide salad, cornbread, and drinks. Winners will be selected by secret ballot and receive tremendous prizes - we will have vegetarian and meat-lovers categories.
