CAF recently hosted its first-ever NorCal Adaptive Sailing Clinic at the Lake Washington Sailing Club in West Sacramento. Held over two days the clinic brought together 24 participants, aged 11 and up, to hone their skills on Hansa 303 sailboats, each guided by a personal coach for a tailored experience on the water.
The clinic was highlighted by the participation of Jim Thweatt, an accomplished adaptive sailor, and below-knee amputee who has represented Team USA in multiple international competitions, including the Para Worlds.
